Re: PMC election: Candidates for 2009

Providing the numbers to the election is something we (the EOG) had 
discussed. However, AFAIK the only way can can gauge the size of the 
active community based on our efforts, would be to count the responses 
we received to the initial notification. For instance there were a few 
people who asked to be removed from the 'mailing list', and then I am 
100% certain there are a number of people who are active but did not 
feel like responding/participating.
