Hello to all,
I'm having some further problems with MySQL Workbench. I will
describe the situation as best I can.
I was able to reverse engineer a database I currently have to get
the table structures and stuff. Lets say its three tables user,
user_vendor, and user_customer. User has a key of User_id and
user_vendor, user_customer inherit the key user_id (foreign key). How
here is the unusual behavior of workbench. I set up a 1 to many
relationship between user and user_vendor. Workbench draws in the
foreign key relationship to user_vendor. However when I try to do the
same thing to the user_customer table, it draws in a foreign key
relationship to user_customer and draws A SECOND Foriegn key "link" for
the same foreign key. When I try to remove the "phantom" foreign key,
it removes one and then the second one can't be removed at all. Looks
like a slight bug.
Has anyone else encountered this problem. Is it just my system or my
reverse engineering that causing the problem.
Thanks
