    Hercules also has a copyright, Fish's stuff also has
 a copyright, this note I'm writing is also copyrighted.

    MVS 3.8j is no-charge software that IBM has always
 allowed people to use and share with no charge.
 IBM separates software by FMID id.  FMIDs starting
 with E and F are no-charge.  FMIDs starting with H and
 J are for-charge.

    MVS 3.8j was no-charge software long before Hercules
 established it to be no-charge software.

    If there are detailed discussions concerning our
 guesses of what is or is not legal, they probably
 should be posted to the Hercules-Advocacy group.
 We should overlook Jay's mention of copyright in
 this group.
