Brian: I confused the issue by sending the z/OS 1.13 stuff instead of sticking to just 2.1.  Really sorry!

Fish:

I had a look at IPCONFIG /ALL and ROUTE PRINT - nothing is jumping out at me.

I'm using DHCP (Windows complains bitterly if I don't!).  I've converted the config files to use MAC addresses wherever possible.

I've tried different ports on the router - no difference.

"Update Driver" in Device Manager didn't find a new driver.

Do you think I'm smart enough to figure out what WireShark would tell me? (Don't answer that!)
