Hello all.

I have recently updated my cabinet to advancemame 0.90, and have been
working with some different tweaks (bootsplash on arcade monitor).

All the games I have tried now has messed up sound, changing the pitch
all the time. For instance the music in Bubble Bobble sounds really
messed up. I searched the archives (well actually my advmame mailbox,
holding about 6000 posts), and found the post included below, which
mentions the problem (way back), but no real description of how to
resolve this.

I tried changing the debug_rawsound to yes, which seems to solve the
problem, but I do not know exactly what this option does, and I seem to
recall Andrea saying that it should be left alone. Has anybody found a
different solution to this problem?

I'm using advancemame 0.90 on a Duron 1.8GHz running Gentoo Linux. Using
onboard AC97 sound with ALSA (kernel 2.6.10-gentoo-r6). Graphics is
running matroxfb with a G400 and vsync on a Hantarex MTC9000.
