That's cool, John, thanks. Continuing my homework, I've also discovered this
howto:
http://web.tampabay.rr.com/whammoed/whammocade/software.htm. It covers the
svgalib stuff we'll have to do to get the D9200 to perform right.

Now I have the following follow-up question - once set up this way, how does
one maintain it? It would appear to go straight into advancemenu with no
opportunity to ever get a command shell again?
