Of course, if you log in with the same user that was autologin'd and starts advmenu in .bashrc, it will try to launch advmenu again. So I either login as some other user, or just press Ctrl+C before advmenu succeeds in starting up. Elegent? No. But workable. Ideal would be to detect in .bashrc which console you are logging into, and only start advmenu if it's console #1. But I'm too lazy to figure out how to do this. Also, when I try to switch back to console #1, the resolution often doesn't correct itself. I think this is more a problem with rivafb than what you might find with other setups, but I don't know. Since my cabinet is on the wifi, I usually ssh into the cabinet from the office to avoid the awkward wireless keyboard and viewing angle.
