  Hello!

I'm working on compiling AdvaceMAME 0.106.0 from source on an
Intel Mac with the latest XCode 2.4 from Apple (which means gcc
4.0.1). Everything seems ok outside of the compiler now throwing
these errors:

> obj/mame/darwin/blend/advance/blit/blit.o
> advance/blit/icopy.h: In function 'internal_copy8_step_mmx':
> advance/blit/icopy.h:195: error: can't find a register in class
> 'BREG' while reloading 'asm'
> make: *** [obj/mame/darwin/blend/advance/blit/blit.o] Error 1

Removing -DUSE_INLINE_ASM in the makefile can get around this...
but I'm curious how much impact that has on the performance of the
resulting binary.

Does anyone know a more comprehensive fix for the issue? I gather
this version of gcc is far pickier about inline assembly for some
reason...

Thanks!
  - Aaron
