Re: Display State codes in charts?

I take it that for now I will have to erase the states' names and replace them by the 2-letter code.

I was thinking along the lines of a new $-substitution value in reports which would display whatever is in the Place's "code" field.

A suggestion:  If the place model is going to be enhanced, I would plead that the ISO standard for country codes be taken into account.  "ISO 3166-1 alpha-2" and "ISO 3166-1 alpha-3" codes (US GB and USA GBR) are very much in world-wide use.
