From the Trilobyte Ranch? Yes, I use it for DEM practicals. Mostly
visualization, some analysis, much with a military orientation (e.g. the
viewshed is called "weapons fan"!)

Cheers,

Subject: [Freegis-list] Free MicroDem GIS software suite

Hello list,

Does anyone have any experience of using the MicroDem GIS package
developed by the US Naval Academy?

See http://www.nadn.navy.mil/Users/oceano/pguth/website/microdemdown.htm

for download.

The freely available datasets (US only, I'm afraid - as usual) are
marine/coastal related.

Thank in advance for any info on this package (which I have installed
and am just beginning to explore).
