the polling times for certain subsystems (disk-usage, sensors) are 
currently fixed and cannot be altered. Even if one would make those 
configurable it would still apply to all items of a certain subsystem 
which is less than ideal for polling sensors-information as reading 
those is rather slow on many systems.

I guess for such special uses it would be better to write an extra 
plugin for gkrellm that allows different polling times per sensor and 
also adds graphs. If the plugin itself gets better than the builtin 
support maybe it could even replace builtin functionality.
