Any help > would be appreciated. Thanks, That sounds very much as if gkrellm would abort enumerating (and thus monitoring) mass-storage-devices as soon as it encounters one without a medium inserted. I can have a look at the code as soon as I have a working X11 development-environment on my MacBook.
