  The biggest thing at the moment would be trying to make it integrate
better with on-disk files for PDF management. For example, maybe
allowing a file-selection dialog to pop up if you reference a file://
URL field. I wear two hats, engineer and grad student, and so I have 500
datasheets and 1000+ papers to try and keep track of. Right now they're
all in a nice directory hierarchy, but as you can imagine, searching is
a massive pain. 
  Someone mentioned hierarchal organization of references in the mailing
list (IIRC) as a potential goal for 1.3. Is there a -devel list where I
could get some feedback on maybe trying to hack some of these ideas into
1.2? 
  I'd love to avoid reinventing the wheel as much as possible, and
pybliographer looks like a very well-engineered long-term solution to
my reference management needs.
