This time I did not use any --with-lang configure option or the patch from http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/ooo-build/2010-January/000473.html. The build failed until I configured without using --enable-pdfimport. Obviously the PDF Import extension was not built. Neither was the Presentation Minimizer extension. However, I am now able to use templates in Impress. -Mike
