I guess someone from the Red-Carpet team heard my plea, because i now have the Opera and the Loki Demo Channel to subscribe to. ONE problem though. When I subscribe to the Opera Channel, it says: "You have no packages from this channel currently installed on your system." Even though, I am using Opera 6.0 Beta 2-Build 145 to write this e-mail :). So, I decided to install what the channel offers: opera-ximian 5.05-20011022.1 2.82 MB opera-ximian-npp 5.05-20011022.1 58 KB When I try to install I get this: Failed Dependencies: Installing opera-ximian-5.05-20011022.1[Opera] Installing opera-ximian-npp-5.05-20011022.1[Opera] There are no installable providers of (any)libpng.so.2 for opera-ximian-5.05-20011022.1[Opera] Can't uninstall the to-be-installed package opera-ximian-5.05-20011022.1 Marking this resolution attempt as invalid. Can this be fixed? Also, why doesn't the Channel notice that I already have Opera installed? Thanks. -D _______________________________________________ red-carpet maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/red-carpet
