Re: Font spacing is too large in gnome-terminal

That worked. Thanks. I ended up setting GDK_USE_XFT=0 because I just
couldn't get the TT fonts small and clear enough. It seems like GDK
should default to some setting (either 0 or 1) for that variable if it's
not set instead of requiring that it be explicitly set.
