I don't like the direction of this comment, although I am totally aware
you are just exaggerating.


Mark has proven to be very helpful [1] in the past, regardless of the
distribution used. He has never ever tried anyone to switch to a
particular distribution. And as far as I do know him, he won't.

Please remember: This is not an Evolution mailing list, nor is it a
Connector mailing list. This is a list for "General discussion of Ximian
software" [2]. This is a user forum and not an official support line.
Mark (as an employee of Ximian / Novell) does support the users anyway.

Besides that, please don't forget that XD2 is pretty much outdated these
days. Gnome 2.2 isn't the freshest software any more... ;)


I felt the strong urge to contribute to this thread, as Mark in
particular and Ximian in general was questioned. Marks reply [3] is
perfectly outlining the facts.

[1] Sure, there are many others being very helpful, too. Regular users,
who just like to discuss their favorite software, believe in the Open
Source Community and spend a lot of their spare time to help others.
