I've already installed the RSS feed on my MyYahoo! But with the new forum you do ask a fundamental chage of attitude from the forum members. They must change from PUSH (Yahoo! forum with the individual messages) to PULL (web forum). In this you are excluding those who do handle their mail off-line and don't have an easy acces to Internet. So I do agree that some users are upset. I've become user of iMatch through very positive comments on the forum of a genealogy software, developed in somewhat similar conditions as iMatch. There the transition was easier, because the list did remain and because you can subscribe to recieve a mail with the first posting of each thread of a specific forum. The traffic is slowly, but steadily, shifting from the list to the forum. See: http://www.whollygenes.com/forums201/ I do have a 3,3 MB ADSL permanent connection with the Internet, so that will not be the problem. But I've organised my work so that I handle most of my mail daily, and do postpone some to a specific day in the week. That's very easy with individual mails, but it requires an extra workload with digests. I can't mark a digest with a "to investigate some items" label, "to reply some items" label, ... (PS: I'm using Eudora). Greetings, Luc Matthijs Evere (Brussels, Belgium) [email protected] Yahoo!
