Re: Quick question... Is this project dead?!

Can I remind you all that this list is for discussing Y development, not 
attempts at group psychoanalysis or plugs for your own projects?

When anyone has new code for Y they will post here.  If you have an idea 
for Y, those are welcome too.

If you want to bug programmers for status reports, go hire some.  If you 
want to talk about another system, use its mailing lists.  If you want 
to talk about control of this project, go get a clue - arch is designed 
in such a way that everyone worldwide has the same say in what goes into 
Y.  If you want a pretty GUI on a platform which bears a passing 
resemblance to unix, go buy a mac.

Please also understand that no-one here cares (or will ever care) which 
desktop environment you use.  We will not make any money from Y either 
way, so market share is a non-issue.

Y will be done when it is done.  Y will be worked on when we feel like 
it.  Everyone who disagrees with the way this works can piss off: at 
least that should reduce the amount of crap in my inbox.
