Hi,
I have still troubles with %subj% with my notebook (Compaq
Presario 1200), linux kernel 2.4.22 (from www.kernel.org),
pilot-link 0.11.8 on Debian/woody.
When trying to make it work according to
/usr/share/doc/pilot-link/README.usb. Everything is OK until line
180, where I don't have in /var/log/messages this line
(``serial driver claimed interface''). Otherwise, everything
looks all right. No explicit error messages are to be found
anywhere.
However, in order to make pilot-xfer work, I have to run in the
one peculiar moment, which I have not found any algorythm for
finding of :-). So, it usually takes five to ten attemps before
I am able to backup.
Now, I would love to use kpilot working for synchronization
between korganizer and my PDA, but with this state of the
connection between Sony and computer, I am afraid, that it is
totally hopeless.
Any comments, thoughts, advice, encouragement?
Matej

Q: Is vi an easy editor to learn, is it intuitive?
A: Yes, some of us think so. But most people think that we are
crazy.
