You get about 100k+ write cycles. I have flashed a h5500 about 300 times now (I know, I shouldn't) and it is still going. Compared to an SD card or CF card, an iPAQ does not have write leveling so you have no guarantee if any particular cell has been written more then another. This means that it is almost certain that the cells in the first 16 to 24MB have more writes put to them then the last ones. But I still wouldn't worry.
