Thnak you for your advice. It helps a lot. I hope I can ask you a few
questions now....I reinstalled Fam 0.5, in order to get Intimate, one more
time. I modified /etc/pcmcia/config again, and the FA411 is recognised and
initialised. I haven't touched /etc/pcmcia/network.opts yet.
I was hoping you could give me some advice on this. I use a Netgear router
(RM356) to share my internet connection with my PCs. It provide DHCP and
does NAT. Its address is 192.168.0.1 and it is also the default gateway. How
should I modify the network.opts file to reflect my network?? Also, after a
couple of minutes cardmgr comes up with an error and eth0, the FA411,
disappears. Is that because I haven't configured network.opts properly?
Please, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I really WANT to run Intimate
on the iPaq.
Thank you so much in advance for your time and attention.

Roberto Migliorati.

Did you modify your network.opts ? It is the setting in this file taking
effects
for network accessing. I am using Netgear FA411. It works fine for v0.5.1.

Also, I am running 1GB micro-drive.
