Weird... works like a charm on mine, same config : akita with
3.5.4.1-alpha1 and gpe image, and no device connected/inserted, power
cord plugged... 'you sure you flashed both kernel and gpe image ?

Noticed something like that too...

Maybe there are already bug reports on that one around (seem to
remember having seen reports... maybe you should try and add to them
?)
