No, Qtopia Core is Qt Embedded rebranded.

Seems you have already decided that anything qtopia is not up to your quality 
standards, you diss it so much, I am beginning to wonder about your 
intentions and if you are really a GPE develop in disguise.

*sigh* This argument keeps coming up time and time again.

The difference is this. Qt is an widget toolkit to build software. Qtopia is a 
software product, which is why Trolltech does not provide a tech preview. 

We don't publish our roadmap for the very same reason. I don't know any 
company that does publish it's roadmap.

If someone does not want to pay royalties, they are free to choose the GPL 
version, or free to go elsewhere.
Trolltech is a business, and royalties help pay for further development.

You are also free to develop a new platform.
