According to Palm's website, downloadable versions of the desktop do not support the Note Pad. (Like 4.1.4) You have to use the version on the disk that came with the Palm. (4.2)

Are you sure you have the Note Pad and not just the Memo Pad?

I have XP.

I can tell that the Note Pad is syching with HotSync. It is just that I have no option to look at the notes in the Palm Desktop.
