The "About" screen shows it is 4.1.4 .  The bar at the left shows "Note Pad"
is selected.  Since it is in "Preview" mode, there are lots of displayed
squiggles and drawings and notes.

You said you have XP.  I run this on both my Vista and XP machines.

Let me know if this is the Note Pad you are talking about.  Perhaps you
should go ahead, download, and see if Palm is doing their web site
correctly.
