Quoting Phil Mendelsohn <[email protected]>: > = began w/ error msgs that there was insufficient memory to save an > edited p32 memo, when the device was at about 50%. Very unlikely this is due to pedit or Memo32DB. DBfixit will operate on Memo32DB if you can get the key. As Steve pointed out, you can at least run a diagnostic with DBfixit without the key. > = Palm has gone into reboot cycle (fixed with hard reset) Consider installing SafeGuard. http://gotreosoftware.com/ If you get into a recursive reboot cycle SafeGuard will stop it and will usually be able to indicate the cause, and isolate ("quarantine") it. > = Preferences have been reloaded backup reinstalled (maybe reinstalled > corrupted prefs that caused it?) Very likely. Regret to say, but in this kind of situation the only cure may be hard reset and clean reinstallation of apps and resetting of prefs. Might you have a backup from prior to the onset of the problem? Also,Steve's suggestion that the cause might be the keyboard driver is a good possibility, although you said, I think, that the same driver was ok before. > = I have pEdit and pToolset 8.12 installed, but never did 8.13.
