Re: What does "file link" do in Shadowplan?

My Projects list has all my projects in it; so everything is in the one
list.  I know this can mean a very big list!  I like to see just the NAs
on another list; so I use the link to ToDo feature and the 15 available
categories.  I have the Projects list set to have a checkbox for ToDo
and to the left is a line I can tap on to set the category.  I then use
the ToDo list to filter on category for context.  I check things off in
the ToDo list and they are then checked off in my Projects list.  When I
review Projects, I delete the checked items and link the NAs.  The
downside here is the 15 category limit which works for me.  When you use
this feature, you find a link in the ToDo note which you can tap to take
you back to the Shadow list.

You could make another Shadow list called Errands.  When you put a NA in
one of your Projects that is an errand, highlight the item.  Then tap on
the small C at the top right of the screen and select Copy Item.  Then
tap it again and select Send to File and select Errands.  I would then
tap a third time to clear the clip.  If you have more than one to send
at that time, you could copy them all and then send at one time.
