It doesn't really work for me to delete what I've already read.  I work in support newsgroups, and I often need to look at the parent messages, etc. to clarify things.  I am cleaning out articles over 10 days old once a day, but I need to be able to "keep" messages in the newgroups.  I have found a "mark all read" option for a button, so that's fine.

Well, the buttons are configurable with whatever options are there right?  Or are you saying that I can create new options for buttons myself.  I purchased the product yesterday, but don't have my license yet.  But, for example, if I'm in the message view, and go to the Button configuration option, there is no "read to" function available for me to use.  I've found that indeed the "kill" thread is okay - it doesn't "kill" in the sense of some other newsreaders, and continues to download the thread on future connections.  So if I'm on a thread that doesn't interest me right now, I can use the "Read (kill) subject" button command for that.

This is unfortunate.  It would be nice instead of "poll article number" it was "poll message ID" - those are readily available in the header page, so maybe someday this could be added :)
