I've been checking my TT and it seems to run for about 2-2 1/2 hours
on a charge (with Bluetooth), even with the back-light on, so I
decided to go with one of the the dinguses on e-Bay (thanks grmann, I
should have thought of E-Bay)(or, possibly, just 4 AA cells - to be
tested) I believe that it would be lighter than the Power To Go (& a
charger)/charge. That and a light weight but low power flexible
solar system to extend it. I also plan on getting a new, fresh,
battery for the TT, maybe one of the 1100 mah ones.

Ian, I think (abusing my poor, lonely brain cell <Grin>) that a self-
contained GPS (which would still require a charger for the
180mile/8MPH = 22 hours of ride time.) would be heavier than my GPS
with TT which is my major consideration. Besides, I have used my TT
and GlobalSat for a whole day (16hrs) on vehicular road trips. And,
by the way, I'll have you know that I don't suffer from insanity, I
enjoy every minute of it! <Grins!> And I don't need no stinkin`
trainin` wheel on my cycle, but thanks anyway. Again, <Grins>

Thanks to all who responded, here and by e-mail. Of course, I will
let you know how things turn out so don't be surprised when this
thread shows up again sometime next year.
