I posted recently about how my Netgear MA701 died. My second one, in fact.

Today I tried to get it exchanged by calling Netgear support. I will make a
long story short and tell you that at first, they would not replace it,
because the support department was not prepared to troubleshoot Linux,
since they know nothing about it.

I told them I have a friend with an identical PDA and an identical network
card. His card works in my PDA and my card DOES NOT work in his PDA, so
there really is nothing else to troubleshoot- It is provably inoperable.
He said he was sorry, yadayada. I asked to be escalated and talk to his
manager. Went through the whole thing again. He was equally as sorry ;)
but I could always talk to their premium support for a fee.

In the end, it took me half an hour on my cellphone to India (this is not
counting the initial hold time, only since I spoke to the first person),
and eventually had to explain my story, in increasingly aggressive tone, to
four employees, before finally getting an RMA number.

The moral is, even if you don't feel like I do that it is an inferior
product, be aware that if you do have problems, you may have trouble
getting support because you are one of those devil-worshiping Linux user
heathen.

Be warned.
