If you have to change to another IDE, I think Mounriver from WCH has similar antecedents to ST’s IDE., and is free. They have some Cortex M0, M3 and RISC-V parts that will run from 5V. I am happy with the ST ecosystem. Not interested in NXP or Atmel offerings. But recently I bumped into a device that uses a MindMotion MM32SPIN05PT mcu. It has a lot of similarity to an STM32F050, and it will run up to 5V. But my Chinese is poor, so navigating their website is painful. Can anyone help me out here? I assume that they have a patch to allow the STMCubeIDE to work. That would be fantastic.
