Thinking about it, I would probably use two LM3914's in bar mode, with their zero scale ends together. Invert the signal going to one of them. Maybe put a contrasting color LED between the two displays so you can see the zero point at a distance. You can invert a negative signal even if you only have a positive supply, so electronically it should be easy. Subject: [Ee] Field mill Unexpectedly, I now own a working field mill. The output is +/- 15V. I need a way to make that visual, without running cables. Cables conduct lightning. One way would be an LED bar, but no luck finding a center zero bipolar unit.
