Hello,

I am using the TINIm400 module with the TINIs400 board (Rev B), which includes
the DS2408 chip for I/O.

I am running the ReadSwitch sample application provided with the OneWire API,
and the output is as follows:

tina /> java ReadSwitch.tini
====================================================
= Found One Wire Device: 9400000000577529          =
====================================================
=
= This device is a DS2408
= Also known as a 8-Channel Addressable Switch
=
= It is a Switch Container
= This device has 8 channels
= It has activity sensing abilities
= It has level sensing abilities
= It is not smart-on capable
======================
=   Channel 0        =
=--------------------=
= State ON           =
= Level LOW          =
= Activity NO        =
= Toggling switch... =
= Toggle Failed      =
======================
=   Channel 1        =
=--------------------=
= State ON           =
= Level LOW          =
= Activity NO        =
= Toggling switch... =
= Toggle Failed      =

[... same for all switches ...]

The input logic levels are sampled properly (i.e. they show up as HIGH when
pulled up to Vcc) but toggling the switch fails for all switches. I have also
tried to toggle the switches with custom code, but this also fails. There is no
Java exception being thrown and no other devices on the bus, which pretty much
rules out the possibility of communication failure.

Do you think this is a hardware problem or am I missing something important??

Thnak you in advance and please kindly cc: the reply to my e-mail, as I have not
subscribed in the list yet.
