RE: Telnet problem with TINI 400

Dear Vijay - Try pinging from your development PC and also another PC, using
the DOS command prompt (from 'Start' -> 'Run', as:

ping 192.168.0.15 -t <-- the "-t" will cause ping to run "forever".

If one PC fails and the other does NOT, you can start chasing the problem in
the "bad" PC; if they both fail, start chasing down the problem in your
network.  If you have TWO IP address's at "192.168.0.15", this could cause a
conflict.  If you have a hub on the system, check the "collision indicator";
Maybe there is something in your network trying to do NAT (and confusing on
the address translation?).

Your "NetMask" on all address's is "255.255.255.0" ???

Hi,

I cannot reach tini from my computer directly
connected to it, via telnet. I have a crossover cable
from my computer to the TINI and running Win 2000 on
my computer. I have loaded the firmware etc from the
serial port and that went fine and the JavaKit
connection works also fine.

The telnet works when I try to disconnect the cord and
reconnect it and try 'telnet 192.168.0.15' many times,
from my computer. I get the tini login, after I login
I can work on it and as I'm working, just after few
secs it says 'connection lost' and kicks me back out.

Any help would be appreciated.
