Here is an exctract of my XF86Config file. I have X running at 1280x1024 @
32 bit, it works like a charm... Not sure a BusID line is needed though.

I don't know what driver is used with the Trident Cyberblade/i1 which is
what is in the OpenBrick-E machines we've got - but I do know that Knoppix
seem to detect the video and seemed to work okay. If you've got a USB cdrom
drive handy, maybe you can boot a Knoppix cd and see what driver is being
used for the video.
