CfP: NordiCHI 2026 Workshop "The Many Facets of Eudaimonia: Bridging the=20 Gap Between Theory and Design Perspectives" - Deadline Extended Dear HCI community, We are excited to host the Workshop on Eudaimonic Design in=20 Human-Computer-Interaction as part of the NordiCHI Conference! DETAILS https://eudaimonicdesign2026.init-owl.de/ Workshop date: October 3rd at the NordiCHI=20 <https://sites.uwasa.fi/nordichi2026/program/workshops/>Conference=20 October 3rd, Vaasa, Finland ABOUT Eudaimonia denotes long-term well-being with a focus on doing well,=20 combining themes of excellence, growth, meaning, and authenticity, in=20 contrast to hedonic well-being, which has a short-term focus on feeling=20 well. With roots in philosophy and extensive psychological research=20 building upon the original philosophical concept, striving for=20 eudaimonic well-being has long been recognized as one energy that drives=20 us, and has recently emerged as a =E2=80=98grand challenge=E2=80=99 for H= CI research.=20 Its complexity requires a clear, shared methodological foundation for=20 both researchers experienced in this area and those newly engaging with=20 it. In this workshop, we aim to provide the room to collaboratively work=20 toward this goal, by building a shared conceptual model that helps=20 establish common ground, identify synergies, and lay out future steps to=20 further eudaimonic well-being through technology WORKSHOP TOPICS We invite all researchers with an interest in furthering eudaimonia in=20 and through technology to partake in the workshop. If you are interested, we encourage you to submit a 2-4 page PDF in the=20 ACM master template (single-column) via email. Contributions may=20 address, synthesize, or offer positions or ideas on the theoretical=20 foundations of eudaimonia, the design or evaluation of eudaimonic=20 technology, or the conceptualization of eudaimonic HCI. For a detailed topic description and submission guidelines, please visit=20 https://eudaimonicdesign2026.init-owl.de/ We look forward to your contributions and to meeting you at NordiCHI! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
