I have been following this discussion of MP3GAIN's benefits with interest. Pardon me, if this question is stupid. Often there are parts of a track that are deliberately softer (or louder) than the rest of the track. How does MP3GAIN treat such passages? This question has prevented me from exploring the other very apparent benefits of using MP3GAIN.
