Planning a new Release

Hi

its been almost one and a half year since our last release.

Is anybody of you here in the middle of working on anything? @Jaikiran I
recall you were on an Bugzilla issue on <ftp>.

Personally I have at least one Bugzilla issue I want to look into and a
small improvement waiting where we can get rid of some pre-Java7ism.

Unless anybody stops me I plan to cut a new release candidate sometime
during the weekend or early next week.

PS: the SBOM work I talked about a few months ago has unfortunately lost
some steam. While evaluating whether Ivy might help I stumbled over the
<artifactreport> task that could be a basis for an Ivy-based Cyclonedx
task, but never found enough undisturbed time to dig into it.

Back then I was planning to propose a new release once I was done and I
still plan to work on SBOMs for Ant but wouldn't want to hold up a new
release as I really don't know how long it is going to take.
