Starting Shark from a Java app

Hi all, I'm new with Shark and trying to run it from my Java application. Do you have some example on how can I do it? I need to run Shark and made it read a really simple XPDL file. Then I should be able to call some Applications to handle the workflow processes. I tried some of the Shark demo codes but they all seem to be more complex than what I need. Can anyone help me or just point me a way to do it? Thanks in advance, Melissa
