I understand your words, but we're talking about Jikes RVM,
not Eclipse.  Is it that Jikes RVM is promulgated under the
EPL?  If that's the case, and if they're essentially
incompatible, then it would seem that the Open JDK and Maxine
implementations are both out of bounds for our use.

Ok ... another verifier out there is in Apache BCEL, which
comes under the Apache License 2.0.  Is that compatible with
Jikes RVM?
