Thanks Wade.  I've filed an issue requesting info from Collab :

   http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=126279

I've also contact both Sean-Michael and Wulfmann off-list to ask for
more details.

If anyone else is having similar problems, pls either let me know, or 
add details to the issue.  A traceroute might help, as woudl the output
of wget -S http://www.netbeans.org/ if you have wget available.
