I have filed an issue regarding the mailing list search interface: http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=195966 And in the process, I found three recent messages in which people complained about the forums truncating messages sent to the list: http://netbeans.org/projects/platform/lists/dev/archive/2011-01/message/387 http://netbeans.org/projects/platform/lists/dev/archive/2011-02/message/154 http://netbeans.org/projects/platform/lists/dev/archive/2011-01/message/200 I would be happy to file these as promised; however, it's not obvious to me what category/subcategory is appropriate for bug reports about the mailing list itself. Please advise and I will file the issue.
