I would of course rather we were able to create a good issue every month ... This is really a marketing decision, so I'll leave it to Rob to comment. We may be able to get more marketing help internally to help produce the Edge. > 2. Migration to DocBook to make it possible > to publish other formats (e.g.. PDF). We already have something like this ... the 10 most recent issues are on the main newsletter page : http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/newsletter/index.html Anything older than 10mths is on the arvhive : http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/edge-archive.html The same idea is in place for the weekly - last 10 weeks are shown on the index.html page, and full archive is shown http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/newsletter/archive.html (I know that page is big, but I don't think it makes sense to create a "really old archive" page as well ...). Do you think this works OK ? > 2. Move everything to one location, some of the > content is now scattered. Not sure what you mean ... I know the xml for eg is in a strange old location. Is that what you mean ? -- Jack Catchpoole NetBeans/Sun Microsystems http://www.netbeans.org/
