Interesting idea ... in terms of being able to come up with
the content each month, unfortunately you are probably right.
I would of course rather we were able to create a good issue
every month ... This is really a marketing decision, so I'll
leave it to Rob to comment.  We may be able to get more 
marketing help internally to help produce the Edge.

We already have something like this ... the 10 most recent
issues are on the main newsletter page :

   http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/newsletter/index.html

Anything older than 10mths is on the arvhive :

   http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/edge-archive.html

The same idea is in place for the weekly - last 10 weeks are
shown on the index.html page, and full archive is shown 

   http://www.netbeans.org/community/news/newsletter/archive.html

(I know that page is big, but I don't think it makes sense to
create a "really old archive" page as well ...).

Do you think this works OK ?

Not sure what you mean ... I know the xml for eg is in a strange
old location.  Is that what you mean ?
