I've just created fr.netbeans.org :

   http://fr.netbeans.org/

[ Though I did not check in any of your content yet Vincent - I
think we still need to finalise guidelines for directory
structure, see comments further down. ]

Vincent, you are the owner of the project. You should have full
checkin permissions, also you should be able to edit project
parameters on the Admin page :

   http://fr.netbeans.org/servlets/ProjectEdit

(though actually nothing much there should be chnaged). You
should be able to "invite" other members, and grant them
different levels of permissions for the site, at :

   http://fr.netbeans.org/servlets/ProjectMemberList

The normal guides for setting up websites might be useful,
though you probably know much if not all of this already :

   http://www.netbeans.org/community/guidelines/web-guide.html
   http://www.netbeans.org/community/guidelines/module-navigation.html

Agreed, thanks (btw probably better to *not* include KB META
tags in either the fr docs, or remove them from the www versions,
because the KB scripts will find and list both if they both
exist).

Actually, I would prefer that the directory structure of www is
mirrored for lang.nb.org websites. I think we discussed this at
one time. Eg :

On www, we have : www/www/kb/using-netbeans/index.html

On fr, we have : fr/www//kb/using-netbeans/index.html

or even : fr/www/kb/using-netbeans/index_fr.html

What do you think ? The last option I suggest bcs that naming
scheme (_$lang) is quite standard online, maybe we should use
it even though we are on $lang.nb.org.

Finally, as you know, we have not worked out a lot of the details
about how to handle and properly integrate our $lang.nb.org
websites. Vincent, you work faster than we can set up guidelines :-)
But I don't want to see you/the FR team waste effort, or have to
go back and change things. I also want all $lang projects to have
consistent structure and functionality - the guidelines you/we
work out for fr.nb.org should be the blueprint for future language
sites. So we have to get it right! :-)

I urge you to proceed carefully, and propose/discuss your plans
on the webteam@ list.

And lastly - congratulations to Vincent for starting the first
language project on netbeans.org, and in fact helping drive the
whole process to liftoff! :-)

Of course, any problems or questions please let me know.
