Thanks for the report.  This is because SourceCast treats www.netbeans.org/
differently from www.netbeans.org/index.html.  Requests for "/" return a
page called DomainHome.html.html, instead of index.html.  :-(  The language
pulldown depends on finding identical filenames with _$lang.html extenstions.
obviously index_fr.html doesn't look anything like DomainHome.html_fr.html,
so I will have to update the scripts to make exceptions.

No ... OTOH we never thought about doing it before.  I think ideally this
would happen on (eg) ru.netbeans.org, where the left nav would make all
RU content available ?
