The source code is right there, people are free to implement what ever solution they need. ; )

But seriously, thinking about what I just wrote in my previous sentence, I suppose it means nobody really built a system using Prevayler that truly depend on rollbacks. People would have complained a lot more if they did. They would have said that removal of the food taster it's a show stopper for their existing application. Nobody here said such a thing. I think the closest we got to that this time was people stating that other people they know fear using Prevayler if it lacks a rollback feature.

If this assessment is true, then I feel even less positive towards adding such features in Prevayler. It's spending time on stuff that will not be used, and code that isn't used has a tendency to both start breaking down after a while and add complexity to code that indeed is in use. Less is more, and all that.
