Configuration via system properties

Hi all, I'm using SISC from within SISCweb (as I guess everyone knows by now). I'm concerned about the sisc.maxStackTraceDepth property: in a hosted servlet container environment, there's no easy way to set system properties, especially if that has to be done *before* sisc initializes. That is, 1) my hosting provider will not let me use System.setProperty() 2) even if I could do that, how can I guarantee that it executes before the Util class loads and parses that property? Please add other ways to configure SISC; for example, via an optional constructor argument to the Interpreter class. That argument could be a Properties object to allow many settings to be customized at once. By the way, how expensive is enabling stack traces in terms of performance? Other suggestions would be welcome, as I still have to customize SISC for my webapps until this problem is somehow solved. -- Dan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
