Forums are archived and searchable - good ones are. And all my references to fora are based upon phpbb (which is what Gentoo uses) which are not truly threaded - single threaded is a better description. *nudge* http://forums.gentoo.org - take a look. Anyway, fora are community support for the community. It wouldn't be something the developers would bother with; just an entry point for the uninitiated. That's the way it works in every other FS project I know of that has a sizable community. Forum users support forum newbies. Those that care use the more 'sophisticated' forms of communicae. Threaded MUA? I use Moz mail (at work) and Evolution (at home). But really, if I'm not using a thread MUA, then do you really expect a not-overly-technical person to be using one? - Charlie
