This is probably the best organizational (rather than technical) idea
I've heard since this project began. I'm 100% in favor of this. In
fact, I'll even hop on IRC during hacking time (!). Actually, I think
a day each week might be a bit much for people, but three hours sounds
reasonable.
Charles, Thursdays are good for me except that I'm unavailable from
roughly 5pm PDT until Friday morning; me and my ten roommates (and our
friends) cook dinner together on Thursdays, and it invariably involves
enough wine to thwart any subsequent coding efforts.
Anyways, I'd like to hear what other people's schedules look
like. David, do you prefer mornings, afternoons, or evenings? I'm
pretty flexible on my schedule and don't mind being up in the middle
of the night, but aside from you and Charles, I think just about
everybody else is in North America (except Emiliano, perhaps? where
are you btw?), so we'd probably be best picking either:
1) An afternoon (PDT) which is late evening for Charles and early
morning for David
2) A late evening (PDT) which is afternoon for David and early
morning for Charles.
North America's West coast and AU are only five hours apart, so it's
hard to do the third permutation -- unless you're on the East coast,
David, but for some reason I recall that you're not.
